I am David Govett.  Over the past 30 years, I rose from executing gold futures trades on London’s open outcry floors in 1995 to serving as Chief Precious Metals Investment Manager & Department Head at Marex Spectron, a leading UK brokerage, where I led strategic initiatives from 2010 until 2023 .where I led a team managing £500 million in precious metals position.  During my 13-year tenure as portfolio manager, my strategies outperformed the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) benchmark index in 12 of those years.  I navigated Black Monday, the 2008 Subprime Crisis, and witnessed Bitcoin’s meteoric rise alongside the crypto market’s evolution from obscurity to global prominence.

2022 marked a pivotal year.  At my son’s invitation, I joined the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) as a volunteer, visiting five countries and meeting countless individuals displaced by war—including children who had lost homes, families, and futures.  Among them was a Syrian refugee whose story reshaped my perspective: while I had issued trading orders to profit from gold price swings during the 2015 Syrian crisis, she had lost her entire family to those same geopolitical tremors.  This jarring duality of finance—its power to create wealth while amplifying human suffering—It shattered my life's creed of profit for profit's sake.

Today, my partner and I co-founded nova century capital, which focuses on running our own money. At the same time, I want to empower a new generation of investment traders with my 30 years of honed investment framework and cutting-edge data core.Now serves a dual mission；
